Getting Started

A face to face conversation is the best approach to determine good fit.  The first step to get started is to contact us and set-up an initial consultation. At this meeting, we will gather information, discuss your concerns and clarify goals.

When treating children and teens, the clinician will first meet with parents, follow-up with one or two individual meetings with the child, and then regroup with the family to discuss findings, recommendations and develop a collaborative plan for proceeding.

Billing and Payments

We are an out-of-network provider. Clients are responsible for making payment at the time of service. At the end of the month, we provide a paid invoices with the necessary medical codes for clients to submit to their insurance. If you have PPO coverage, your insurance will pay for our services at their out-of-network rate and you will be responsible for the difference (co-pay). We recommend that you contact your insurance company to find out the out-of-network rate for psychotherapy. The CPT Codes that you need to inquire about are 90791 for the Initial Assessment, 90837 for ongoing individual and 90847 for family therapy sessions.

Payment can be made by check, Zelle and ApplePay. Square is used for credit card payments and an additional $10 fee is applied to cover fees.  When using Zelle, send payment to anamaria@thrive-hcfc.org
