Thank you for your interest in our upcoming Friendship Group.

Two high school interns have designed this unique peer-to-peer support model with my support. Interns conducted structured interviews with professionals from six different disciplines who offer social skills training groups, as well as a small group of shy teens, and engaged in a literature review of causes for shyness. One intern has also been a peer model in a social learning group for teens for a couple of years.

We require a commitment of attendance to all sessions (meeting dates) as group identity is built sequentially and over time, as well as this creates continuity with topics.

We are seeking 6-8 participants.

The group will be hosted at Sensory Solutions, which is an Occupational Therapy clinic. The open space allows for fun and active activities but no sports will be played.
